Well, I do.
I picked up those adorable little Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox vintage salt and pepper shakers a little while back. In true Jeremy form, he hates them.
His exact reaction was, “Oh gross…someone else’s salt and pepper has been in them. Don’t put those on the table.”
Please note: although the Fiestaware in the picture looks vintage, it’s actually brand-spanking-new (or was at least when we bought it last year).
Jer’s reaction when I mentioned purchasing vintage Fiestaware pieces: “Oh gross…I’m not getting mouth herpes from used plates.”
And such is norm in our house — where balance and compromise are still an evolving thing of beauty.
