Instagram

I love Instagram.  What is Instagram you ask?  Why, let me tell you what Instagram is.

It’s a little photo app for the iPhone that allows you to snap pics, edit them with fun little preset filters and then post and share them.  It’s like an iPhone only, photo-oriented Facebook (by the way…how about the new Facebook?  Let’s make one of the most used sites in the world hard to use.  Genius!).  I go through spurts where I use it a million times a day and then I don’t use it for a month.  But I always come back to IG (that’s what the cool kids call it), which is saying a lot with my severe case of App ADD.

Here are a few recent IG pics.

A lot of people who are interested in photography get caught up on having the best camera out there.  The best camera is actually the one you have with you, so I find myself snapping more and more pics on my phone.  I love that all of these pictures evoke a memory or capture a moment.  For that reason, these little IG shots are just as important as those I take with my DSLR.
