Moving On

This is what we’ve been up to recently. We’ve been packing away our lives and storing them in a Pod. We are Pod people.

We listed our house thinking it would take months to sell. It sold in 7 days. Yeah, we weren’t expecting that. And we weren’t really prepared for it either. So, we’ve spent the past 3 weeks packing, making plans, packing, making plans. We close on the house next Monday and we’re in pretty good shape; most of the house is loaded aside from every day essentials and whatnot. We’ll knock those out closer to closing.

As to where we are going, that’s a story for another day. :) We have a lot of changes happening right now (all good) so it’s an exciting time. But, until things are cemented, all I can tell you is that we are moving on.

I haven’t been online in a while so I’m catching up and I’m so happy for you that you’re moving!! Send some of that fairy dust my way – when we bought our house it had only been on the market 8 days but it’s taking us far longer to sell it this time around. I’m hoping it goes soon – making the mad dash to clean up for showings is for the birds!

It was a complete fluke that it sold so quickly! Everything around us has taken months and months to sell. We just got the right buyer at the right time. But I know yours will sell soon! It’s way too stinking cute not to.

The showing process is a nightmare! We had a night time checklist we completed – pick up the baby toys, pick up the dog toys, clean the kitchen, clean the bathrooms, etc. And then a morning check list – make the bed, clean the bathroom again, vacuum the carpet, on and on.

I’ll send some fairy dust your way soon though. :)
