Every now and again I see or hear something that reminds me of why I initially started Pride in Life. It’s for Jonah Mowry and all of the other Jonah’s in the world. I can’t fix the bullying problem, I can’t make their lives better directly. But I hope – and I pray – that, by sharing a little of my life and showing the reality of life as a gay man, I might be able to reassure even one LGBT youth that the anguish and torment of high school and the bullies that cause turmoil are only temporary. Get through it. Life gets so much better and more rich with each passing year.
Please take a minute to watch Jonah’s video. And please share it via Facebook, Twitter, e-mail and any other method you can. People need to see the harm bullying can cause to an innocent child or teenager.

My heart hurts for him and anyone else who has been through or is going through what he is. It’s sad how hard it is to be a kid today to begin with, but then to be teased for just being who you really are, it makes me sick.
You’re an amazing person, Ry. I pray Jonah finds his way to Pride in Life and see’s exactly how perfect life really is :)
Love you cookie!! XXOO, Jen
This is so sad, and it drives me CRAZY that parents don’t teach their kids to treat others with kindness and respect. We have two daughters and we teach them that everyone has value. I shared this on facebook, thanks for posting!
I saw the Jonah video. My gosh. I started sobbing and I couldn’t stop
